Michael Johnston, AIRPM - Property Manager

Michael has worked in the Housing and Property Management sector across the northern regions of England for over 20 years for both the Private and Social sectors. Alongside residential developments, he has managed a wide variety of buildings from theatres, colleges, museums, commercial and retail units. Michael obviously enjoys the complexities of Property Management having stayed within the sector for the last two decades, and due to his wealth of vast experience, he is a calming influence when problems arise. Michael enjoys DIY, Gardening and family life in general (not so much the ironing though!). A keen motorcyclist, Michael often turns up at the office on two wheels ready to take on whatever that day brings.

Laurie Tebb Laurie Tebb - Property Manager

Laurie has worked multiple disciplines within the property industry since 2007, including block management, residential lettings, financial services and relocation, where he managed a project moving players from Europe & North America to Altrincham, as part of the new Manchester Storm Ice Hockey Club setup. Laurie switched to block management approximately 4 years ago and enjoys the challenges it presents. Laurie’s speciality is large projects at complex schemes where he can really make a real difference to the residents living within the properties and developments he manages. Outside of work, Laurie is a keen sportsman, he enjoys golf and Ju-Jitsu, but his real passion lies in Ice Hockey which he has played since the age of 10, and which has taken him as far as Minnesota where he coached a hockey camp. Laurie also enjoys photography and cooking.

Louise Newton Louise Newton – BA (Hons), CIH, AIRPM - Property Manager

Louise has recently joined Realty in August 2020 and has worked in the Property Management sector for 6 years. During her time in Property Management she has managed a diverse mix of developments from small blocks to larger developments, located across the North West. Louise recognises the needs of the individual development, providing a personal approach and has a passion for bringing buildings/sites up to standard, as well as continued improvements at developments where possible. Louise holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management and has more recently completed an apprenticeship, which saw Louise achieve a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 qualification in Housing and Property Management. Louise is an Associate of IRPM and is hoping to continue and complete the Members exam in the future. Outside of work Louise enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the countryside and taking part in the odd yoga class!

Joe Dennison-McCarey, AIRPM Joe Dennison-McCarey, AIRPM - Property Manager

Having moved from the Essex coast, Joe has worked as a property manager for more than 30 years, and brings with him an abundance of experience and knowledge, being employed by some of the biggest property firms in and around London. While Joe may be used to the fast paced life of  a London Property Manager and the challenges it entails, Joe is enjoying his new portfolio at Realty and moved to Derbyshire for a more relaxed and improved work/life balance. Joe thoroughly enjoys the rolling green hills of the High Peaks where he spends any free time exploring the landscape with his partner and his dog ‘Womble’, whom he rescued from a public rubbish tip in Cyprus and flew to safety here in the UK.

Ben has worked in Leasehold Property Management since 2007 and has since amassed over a decade’s worth of knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within the Property Management industry. Ben is a meticulous and helpful individual who thoroughly enjoys visiting sites first hand to assess management levels, and relishes interacting with customers face to face. Ben is more than happy to get his hands dirty and takes pleasure in resolving long standing issues that may have been inherited from previous agents. Outside of work Ben is happiest being at home with his wife and his cat, Max, taking a well-earned rest.

With over 8 years’ experience within leasehold property management, Siobhan is a hardworking and dedicated team member. Siobhan has recently completed an apprenticeship in Housing and Property Management level 3, that has seen her gain her Associate status (AIRPM) with the Institution of Residential Property Management. Siobhan has worked predominantly within the North West of the country with a fantastic local knowledge, and has gained insight and experience by working at multiple levels and disciplines within the property management sector. Outside of work, Siobhan is a keen traveller, and relishes quality time spent with her family, friends and partner. You can read more about Siobhan’s apprenticeship here

Michael Johnson Simon Perkin - Property Manager

One of Simon’s best attributes to his role is that no job, big or small, is too much for Simon! Simon relishes an opportunity to get stuck in and make a real difference at each of his developments. With over 3 years’ experience, Simon enjoys problem solving, and one of his greatest achievements was overseeing a major works project where he replaced the roof on a Grade II listed building. Outside of work, Simon is a keen winter sports enthusiast, he plays Ice Hockey, and has taught snowboarding and skiing. Simon has a basic understanding of British Sign Language, and is a father to an awesome 3 year old!
