New Appointments at Realty!

Ged Tucker

Due to the success as one of the leading Property Management companies within the North West, the first financial quarter at Realty this year has seen the addition of two new colleagues into the Realty team.

Lauren Rowlands joined the team in early April as an Associate Director with over six years’ experience within the property management industry. Lauren will be managing all aspects of Business Development at Realty and is passionate about achieving a steady organic growth strategy for the company. Lauren commented “Coming from a larger national agent to a medium sized agent has been refreshing, the team and Directors at Realty are very hands-on, flexible, and adaptive to ensure every customer and client receives a truly bespoke service solution. It is a delight to part of such an incredible team. I’m looking forward to sharing the team skills with Resident Management Company Directors, Developers and Freeholders”.

Ged Tucker joined the Realty team June as a Property Manager, and has over 18 years of experience within the industry. Ged has worked with a number of large Property Management companies and has managed a varied portfolio from small blocks of 4 flats, to large developments of 650 flats in the South West. Ged has an extensive knowledge of Property Management and has overseen a number of projects, including his most proudest achievement, a ÂŁ5M refurbishment at one of his blocks.

Realty has grown at considerably following Manging Director, Daniel Pollards acquisition of the 30 year old company in 2014 at the age of only 29.  Since then, Daniel has designed and implemented numerous strategic and operational systems and procedures that have transformed Realty; a relatively unknown regional firm, into a reputable and rapidly growing Managing Agent, now considered one of the best-known and reputable firms in the North-West and also the UK as a whole.

Daniel’s entrepreneurial approach attracted the recruitment of key individuals that might not normally consider working for ‘smaller’ firms.  Existing staff enjoy regular, high quality, training from a number of industry-experts in the fields of Law, Building Surveying and Health & Safety, and regularly attend seminars and training events.  Staff benefits such as private healthcare, modern offices, flexibility, and staff social events have also been introduced.

Long-standing team member, Jane Clarke summarised Daniels effect on the business:

“Realty is almost unrecognisable from before Daniel’s involvement. We have re-located to modern spacious offices; the company has fresh new branding and I feel that there is a structured training plan in place.  I have been a Property Manager at Realty for ten years and I now feel completely supported in my role and genuinely enjoy my work and the friendly office environment that now exists”.

In addition to commercial success and high staff morale, Daniel’s innovations have had a hugely positive effect on client relationships.  Figures that speaks volumes are the fact that: Realty has enjoyed an almost impeccable client retention rate since Daniel’s involvement; and the results of our  customer satisfaction questionnaire, sent to hundreds of leaseholder clients – of those who responded, 99% of leaseholders said they were “completely satisfied” with 93% rating us 10 out of 10.  Great proof that Daniel’s hard work to transform the business is succeeding.
